5 Attributes of Everyone Who Codes Should Have and Can Develop
So the question is…
What does it take to become a person who codes?
This was one of the things I asked myself when I started my adventure .
So I thought I would make a list of some of the characteristics of what it takes to become a coder.
This list may surprise you because the answers may not be what you think.
1|A Willingness To Learn
Yup, the first thing to start learning is to simply have a desire.
Learning how to code is much easier than what you may think.
I know when people hear the term code they think only geniuses can learn to code.
But I am here to tell you other wise.
Coding is simply a language to speak to a computer. If you learn the basic concepts and grammar, aka syntax, of the language then you can code…
Period.
2|PERSISTANCE
How do you get good at anything in life?
Continue you doing it and practicing it until it becomes second nature.
The best thing about coding is, it won’t ever be second nature.
Ironic I know, but hear me out.
I can tell you from my years of experience and research that coders who have been doing this for years always have to look up something for reference at some point and time.
That is why there are so many resources out there online to help each one there with any coding projects.
It truly is a community that helps each other.
I can say this though, if you grasp the basics and the fundamentals you will have a much better time when coding.
